6U VME64x 3200

The VME 3200 crate series provides industry standard VME crates with redundant and hot-swappable front-side plugged in 500W cPCI power supplies in a compact and rugged design.  The VME card sized CML shelf manager allows full remote monitoring and control of power supply, fan and chassis.

Efficient cooling of VME modules is done by the 1U fan tray which is is removable and completely controlled.

Technical Information

VME64x Backplanes

All WIENER VME 64x multi-layer backplanes are outfitted with 5-row 160 pin connectors for J1 and J2 as well as optionally with 133 pin hard metric connector for J0.  The busses have active on board termination and active automatic daisy-chain (CBLT compatible!). Available with  up to 21 slots.
W-Ie-Ne-R’s special current multilayer made of  “z”-bended copper sheets, further stiffens the 4.8mm thick board.

6U VME430 J1/Jaux/J2 backplane (CERN spec.)

Monolithic multi-layer backplane with active automatic daisy chain and active termination outfitted with 96pin DIN connectors J1/J2 as per IEEE-1014-1987 and 30 pin  Jaux.  Meets VITA VME and CERN V430 specifications entirely. Available with 9 or 21 slots. VME64x style 5 row 160-pin connector version are optionally offered:
