NIM CERN / CE crates 5U/7U

The CERN / CE NIM crate series combines the well established modular concept of the CERN standard with improved AC wiring to fully match CE and UL safety requirements. Similar to the CERN spec. series these NIM crates are outfitted with linear regulated, low noise plug-in power
supplies in the 300W to 600W DC power range. For ultimate power requirements a low noise switching power supply with 1900W DC output can be chosen.

All power supplies support the features defined by the CERN standard including the monitoring connector and provide protection against short circuit, over / under voltage and over temperature.

The CE conform versions provide improved AC wiring.

UEN 01 / 03 NIM Bins

7U bin UEN 01 for 12 NIM slots with 2 U fan tray space

5U bin UEN 03 without fan tray space

NIM CE Power Supplies

All CE power supplies have separated and improved AC to fan / bin connection
CEP22M: CERN spec. high precision linear regulated NIM power supplies for 300W power output, all 6 DC voltages provided, lowest noise (<3mVpp) technology, CEP22MS is a special version with increased +/-12V current, (no +/-6V)
CEP10M66: CERN spec. high precision regulated NIM power supplies for 300W power output, all 6 DC voltages provided, lowest noise (<3mVpp) technology, special version with increased +/-12V current available, CEP10M88
CS236: micro-processor controlled, high precision, low-noise switching power supply with
programmable voltage and current limits, 1900W DC output, all 6 DC voltages provided
Power supplies are plugged-in to the rear of the NIM bin for easy tool free exchange
All power supplies are protected against short circuit, over / under voltage and over temperature
Equipped with status control and CERN-spec. monitoring output (PG28)
