MPOD multi-channel low voltage power supply modules

In addition to the well established 6 / 8- and 12- channel "medium power" low voltage power supplies of the PL506/8, PL512- and MARATON - series W-Ie-Ne-R presents with Mpod a new, universal multi-channel low voltage (LV) & high voltage (HV) system. Offering highest channel density the Mpod mainframe can house up to 10 plug-in low or high voltage modules. This corresponds to 80 LV channels per Mpod- mainframe with up to 3kW DC total output.

All Mpod low voltage modules have 8 channels with a maximum of 50W per channel in different voltage ranges up to 120V. All channels are individually controlled and monitored and have floating, individually sensed outputs.

High current modules are available with 2 channels @ 200W.

LV Module Features

  • Low Voltage floating modules with 8 channels of 10A / 50W max. with 8V, 16V, 30V, 60V and 120V ranges, high power modules with 2 channels 200W 
  • Extremely low noise and ripple: <10mVpp
  • high stability: 0.2%/10k
  • All DC outputs floating with individual return lines, individually sensed, 125V floating potential (500V tested)
  • Voltage current setting / monitoring for each channel, 15 bit resolution, monitoring of terminal and sense voltage 
  • Current monitoring and limiting for each channel, 15 bit resolution  
  • Programmable channel parameters (voltages, currents, powers and their limits, ramping 1V/s ... 500V/s, group behavior, etc.)
  • and monitoring via Ethernet (TCP/IP), CANbus and USB Combo interfaces
  • Front panel multi-color Status LED for each channel
  • Connectors:   a) 2 x 37 pin sub-D connectors for DC outputs, sense and interlock / control
                           b)2 x 8 pin high current sub-D, 37 pin sub-D for sense / control
  • optional Interlock
