WIENER Backplanes 3U VME-J2

The 3U WIENER VME-J2 backplane fully complies with ANSI/VITA 1-1994 and IEEE-1014-1987 specifications. It is designed as a 4-layer board in strip-line technolgy. WIENER J2 VME backplanes are available with 5, 7, 9, 10, 15 or 21 (full size) slots.

The backplane is actively terminated and provides automatic daisy chain either actively or mechanically (in connector, on request).

The  extended power layers and special current rails permit highest power distribution. The 21 slot monolithic J1 backplane has more than 150A current capability on 5V, which corresponds to 7.5A per slot (at 70°C). For power distribution and connection current rails are mounted on the back of the backplane.
