The UEL03 series is a micro processor based fan tray and control unit with multi-functional alpha numeric display. Three axial long life DC-fans (low acoustic noise!) are used, which are mounted on on ball bearing. Each fan is individually controlled, the fan speed is variable from 1200 to 3000rpm.
Air inlet is either from bottom side (>540 m3/h full cooling efficiency) or from front side (400 m3/h). The maximum static pressure reaches <8mm water column.
The alpha numerical display can show voltages, currents, temperatures, power consumption of inserted modules and fan speed as well as fail reasons. In programming-mode trip off-points may be adjusted, like current limits to any lower value than maximum. If these defined values are exceeded, the PS 336 trips off. (All monitoring and control facilities according to CERN- CAMAC-Note 46-04)
The front panel is outfitted with switches and LED's for:
- Mains on / off
- Display mode
- Fan speed
- Trip off Disable
- remote control network settings (CAN-bus, H.S. CAENET, GPIB/IEC bus)
The CEL03 is the CE conform version which has to be used with CEP/CS power supplies.
